Gower Board narrows superintendent search in Burr Ridge

BURR RIDGE — The search for the next Gower District 62 superintendent is narrowing down.
School Board members will meet Friday and Saturday to interview six finalists for the position. Board President Ryan Asmus said the field will then be narrowed to two, with a final selection expected as early as Dec. 6.
Asmus said he and the board hope to formalize their selection at the Dec. 18 board meeting.
The person selected to replace retiring Superintendent Steve Griesbach will take over as leader of the elementary district on July 1.
