More than 520 nuns traveled from across the Chicago area and as far away as Wisconsin to enjoy a dinner and a showing of the musical “Sunset Boulevard” on Jan. 24 at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace.
For the past 58 years, Drury Lane has invited sisters from all orders to a complimentary dinner and theater show as a sign of appreciation for all that the sisters do.
The tradition was begun by Tony DeSantis, founder of the Drury Lane group of theaters, and is continued by his son Kyle, executive producer of Drury Lane Theatre.~>~.
