Hinsdale South student earns perfect ACT score

Hinsdale South High School junior Alexander Gomez recently received his ACT scores, and he couldn’t have asked for more. Literally.
Gomez is one of just 781 students nationwide to achieve a perfect 36 on the standardized college entrance exam in 2012. More than 1.66 million took the exam, which measures a student’s readiness for college-level classes.
ACT test scores are one of many criteria used by colleges in making admission decisions.
