OAK BROOK — Loren Long, an author/artist whose works include the drawings for President Barack Obama’s book, Of Thee I Sing, visited Brook Forest Elementary School March 21.

Long met with kindergarten, first- and second-grade students to talk about how he writes and draws for books.

Among the 23 books on his resume are the popular Otis books: Otis is a Special Tractor, Otis and the Tornado and Otis and the Puppy.
