Reading Between the Wines
Literacy DuPage, a local nonprofit that provides one-on-one English tutoring, will host its second annual Reading Between the Wines event at Parkers’ Restaurant, 1000 31st St., Downers Grove on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30p.m. The afternoon will include a luncheon with wine flights and a fashion show by Jeans and A Cute Top Shop. The 19th annual Sweetheart Dinner Dance will be held Friday, Feb. 14 at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, 120 East Delaware Place, Chicago, to benefit The Children’s Medical Research Foundation.
