Boys swimming: Lyons junior puts in the hard work

Despite being just a novice swimmer, one Lyons junior tried out for the team as a freshman, and he’s glad he did, according to High School Cube News.

When Lyons junior Jagat Kohli decided to go out for the swimming team as a freshman, the deck was definitely stacked against him.

Kohli knew the basics, but hadn’t swum competitively and was unfamiliar with all the proper techniques.

At a program as large and as competitive as Lyons’, just finding room in the pool is a challenge, let alone getting much one-on-one coaching. Kohli faced an uphill battle.
