The Misericordia Women’s League is returning to its roots and reviving its original casino theme benefit night. On March 8, the 18th annual fundraiser, Mis Queen of Hearts, will transform the Drury Lane into a glittery Vegas atmosphere. The evening will include Vegas-style gambling and include a casino, silent art auction, live art auction and live music. Cocktails and dinner will also be served.

Since its inception in 1995, the League has contributed over $3,000,000 from their annual fundraisers to support Misericordia Home. In addition to the annual gala, other fundraisers include Misericordia Candy Day sales, golf outings and bowling tournaments.

Proceeds from this year’s benefit will support Misericordia’s Personal Effectiveness Program, which uses interactive technology and visually supported tools to enhance the behavioral health of Misericordia’s adult residents.

The event begins at 7 p.m. at Drury Lane, 1000 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. Tickets are $200 per person. For more information or to register online, visit www.events.org/misqueenofhearts.
