THE SKINNY
 
Oak Park-River Forest’s offense looked in mid-season form in its season-opening win over Nazareth Saturday in LaGrange Park. The Huskies pounded out 16 hits, including a three-run home run by senior first baseman Libby Foster.
 
TURNING POINT 
 
The Huskies’ first five batters reached base to start the game, as OPRF scored four runs in the top of the first inning and led the rest of the way. OPRF put the game out of reach with seven runs in the sixth.
 
THE STAR 
 
Catcher Sophie Mouros reached base in her first four plate appearances. The Huskies’ junior went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two walks.
