DuPage County Sheriff’s Manhunt Monday: Man wanted for selling weed, weapons possession

Last July, DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba‘s office announced a new initiative to track down local fugitives called “Manhunt Monday” in which it would select one person every week to feature in hopes that someone with information about the criminal’s whereabouts comes forward.

In a statement on their website, the sheriff’s office said: “On ‘Manhunt Monday’ the Sheriff’s Office will highlight one criminal who is being sought after for having outstanding warrants … Please remember these suspects are wanted for criminal charges and need to be apprehended by law enforcement.”

Sheriff John Zaruba announced today’s “Manhunt Monday” pick of the week is wanted out of Aurora for Produce or Possess Cannabis Plants – more than 50 but not more than 200 plants, Manufacture/Deliver Cannabis – more than 2,000 but not more than 5,000 grams and Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons or Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.

This week, the Sheriff’s Office is looking for Gregory F. Accardi.

The 61 year old male is wanted for class 1 felonies, for Produce or Possess Cannabis Plants – more than 50 but not more than 200 plants, Manufacture/Deliver Cannabis – more than 2,000 but not more than 5,000 grams and Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons or Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.

Gregory F. Accardi (dob/11/2/1952) is 5’7” tall, 175 lbs., with gray hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 400 block of Plaza Place, Aurora, IL.
