Two bunnies will greet kids at Breakfast with the Bunny, 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at the Burr Ridge Community Center, 15W400 Harvester Drive.

“We have a small room that we decorate with giant paper flowers. It looks like a garden,” said Lavonne Campbell, superintendent of recreation for Burr Ridge Park District. Peter Rabbit and his wife both wait in the room. “Kids can have their picture taken with them.”

In addition to the opportunity to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, there will be activities for kids and a roving entertainer. A continental breakfast of donuts, fruit juice, milk and coffee will be served.

At exactly 10:30 a.m., there will be an Easter egg hunt open only to kids who attend the breakfast.

The cost is $5 for Burr Ridge and Willowbrook residents, $8 for nonresidents. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Register as soon as possible because spaces were filling quickly at press time.
