Lyons Township High School Latin students find success at convention

Lyons Township High School Latin students recently competed at the annual Illinois Junior Classical League state convention.

Twenty-nine Latin students served as delegates to the convention, attending a banquet dressed in togas, leading a discussion on Roman art and architecture and competing in Latin academic contests such as mythology, grammar and vocabulary. Sixteen students returned with awards.

Student names are listed by year, with the place they earned in the specific category. The students are at varying Latin Levels.
