Our “Pet of the Week,” from the Hinsdale Humane Society, is back. This week, a young Pit Bull Terrier mix gets the spotlight. Read the release:

Ned is a lovable boy, who enjoys attention, being with people and belly rubs. He is a very happy dog with a perpetually wagging tail.

Ned is 2 years old, 80 pounds and best suited to a home with children 10 years of age or older. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or an owner that runs or jogs.

If you can give Ned the loving home he deserves, please visit him and the other dogs and cats available for adoption at Hinsdale Humane Society, 22 N. Elm St., Hinsdale. Hours are: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday; noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closed on Monday. Call (630) 323-5630 for additional information.
