Hinsdale Central High School Jazz ensembles and Chamber Choir with Bill Moller from WGN Radio as emcee will host a benefit concert at 7 p.m. April 29, at the Hinsdale Community House.

This concert is put on in conjunction with Schools Count Corp., which was founded by Dick Flescher, a retired Hinsdale Central High School teacher and coach, who has worked tirelessly for the students in needy schools in New Orleans, Haiti and Chicago. This year they will raise funds for John Hay Elementary School in Chicago. Visit http://www.schoolscountcorp.org/.

Admission is $5 per person or $10 for the entire family. Flescher is also asking for donations of instruments, in good playing condition. Those who donate an instrument will be provided with free admission and Schools Count Corp. will provide a charitable tax deduction receipt.
