American Music Institute’s Clarendon Hills concert benefits musical students

American Music Institute faculty members gathered on March 23 at the AMI’s Clarendon Hills campus for a benefit concert featuring selections from J.S. Bach, Charles de Beriot, Edino Krieger and more.

Musicians included Maggie Dahlberg on piano, Kassia Frantz and Alin Cernaianu on violin, 7-year-old student Ume Joregensen on violin, Aki Joregensen on piano and AMI founder Remus Badea on violin.

During intermission, Jared Rabin played jazz selections on the guitar while guests enjoyed appetizers, desserts and beverages.

The benefit concert netted $953 toward financial aid scholarships, which provide music and vocal lessons for children.
