Tennis: Hinsdale Central wins its own boys tennis tournament

HINSDALE — The host Hinsdale Central boys tennis team flexed its muscle Saturday in cruising to victory in the Jay Kramer Invite.

The tournament included one singles bracket and four doubles brackets. The Red Devils won three of the five competitions, including the singles competition as Hinsdale Central junior Martin Joyce defeated fellow Red Devils junior Eddie Grabill 6-4, 6-1 in the final.

The Red Devils finished with 30 team points. Highland Park and New Trier each had 19 team points and tied for second.
