Longtime U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert is selling her house in Hinsdale, although she plans to stay in the area with her husband, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Former U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert on Thursday listed her historic, seven-bedroom mansion on more than 1 acre in Hinsdale for $3.15 million.

Republican Biggert, 76, served in the U.S. House for seven terms before losing her re-election bid in 2012 to Bill Foster in a newly reconfigured district.

Now, Biggert and her husband Rody have decided to list their mansion of 43 years, which was built in 1864 and was built by Hinsdale’s founder, William Robbins. The couple bought the house in 1971 for $80,000 from Rody Biggert’s mother, Helen Palmer.
