6 Nazareth Academy baseball players make college commitments

Matthew Baldwin of Chicago will continue to play baseball at St. Ambrose University. “Matt has emerged as a mainstay in the infield. He has excellent hands and has many big hits this year,” says Head Baseball Coach Lee Milano. The St. Ambrose Fighting Bees are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, primarily competing in the Midwest Collegiate Conference. Nazareth Academy wishes Matthew continued success at St. Ambrose.

Andrew Barreto of Chicago will continue to play baseball at St. Ambrose University. At Nazareth, Andrew is the captain of the outfield, a two-year varsity starter and team leader. The St. Ambrose Fighting Bees are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, primarily competing in the Midwest Collegiate Conference. Nazareth Academy wishes Andrew continued success at St. Ambrose.
