Baseball: Nazareth’s loss in sectional semis leaves program in unfamiliar spot

With a 3-0 loss to Fenwick in the 3A Glenbard South Sectional semifinals, Nazareth’s baseball program isn’t accustomed to starting the summer so early.

But the Roadrunners realized what they needed to do next. They quickly turned their thoughts to returning to form next season.

“The loss obviously was hard,” junior Matt Flach said. “It hurt, but we can use it as motivation. Every day in summer ball we want to remember that feeling so hopefully we won’t have to experience it again.”
