1. ‘Minecraft’ After Hours, 5:30 p.m. Friday
If you love to be creative or just have a good time, come celebrate summer’s first Thomas Ford Memorial Library “Minecraft” building competition. You must have your own account. Grades four to 12. Bring your computer, or use one of the library’s. This is an after-hours event. No entry after the start time; no re-entry. RSVP at 708-246-0520. 2. Building Teams with S.T.E.A.M., 7 p.m. Friday

3. Concerts on the Green, 7:30 p.m. Friday

4. Father and Kids First Flight, 10 a.m. Saturday

5. R.E.A.D. with the Hinsdale Humane Society, 10:30 a.m. Saturday

6. Bel Sonore, 2 p.m. Saturday
Bel Sonore is a four-piece ensemble of flute, oboe and bassoon with soprano voice. They perform a repertoire ranging from the early baroque to jazz standards. The selection includes songs by Samuel Barber, Robert Muczynski, Jerome Kern, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, John Jacob Niles and Amy Beach. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Brook Library.
