Daughter of Illinois Senate Minority Leader, Lyons grad dies suddenly

The daughter of Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno died unexpectedly of a “massive pulmonary embolism,” the GOP leader’s office announced late Wednesday.

“It is with heavy heart that we inform you of the sudden death of Lisa Radogno, 31, this evening due to a massive pulmonary embolism,” Radogno spokeswoman Patty Schuh wrote in an email to reporters.

Lisa Radogno, who was single, was one of three daughters of Sen. Radogno and her husband, Nunzio, and served as an executive assistant in the Washington, D.C., office of U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill.
