Chicago fireworks: Fourth of July light shows in Chicago area, suburbs

A family enjoys a fireworks show

Yes, it’s true. It’s possible to see fireworks for free every day this coming holiday weekend.

While this may very well lead to a three-day Chicago fireworks binge for the diehards out there, for the rest it allows a breadth of choice. Use this guide to find your favorite show or to make the lights in the sky work around your grilling and flag-waving schedule.

All events are free unless otherwise noted.
