Baskeball: Lyons’ 3 Niegos follow in footsteps of their fathers

Nearly three decades after four Niego brothers made NCAA history at Lewis University, the family hopes to pen another footnote at Lyons for this upcoming basketball season.

Three members of the next generation of Niegos are currently playing basketball together for Lyons.

Though it is too early to tell if they all will start in the fall for Lyons, senior guard Harrison Niego and his sophomore brother Connor Niego and sophomore cousin Noah Niego were on the floor at the same time June 19 during Lyons’ Riverside-Brookfield summer league games.
