Football: Lyons’ new receivers work on chemistry with quarterback Tom Fiedler

After Lyons quarterback Tom Fiedler lost both of his top wide receivers from last season to graduation, this summer he’s breaking in a new crop of pass targets.

Seniors Emmett Corrigan, Michael Grace and Owen McNulty combined for only a handful of receptions last season, but will be counted on to replace Lafayette-commit Matt Mrazek and Marcell Kellum.

“I played a decent amount,” Corrigan said. “I was not the No. 1 or the No. 2. I was more of the blocker to set up [the play]. Of the three wide receivers, I return with the most experience and at the end of the year was starting.”
