You get what you expect at Magic Matt’s Family Fun Show—a magic-filled performance that all ages will enjoy.
Matthew Scherer has been performing as a magician and balloon artist across the Midwest for over 25 years. In addition to his performances at libraries and schools, Scherer has appeared at Brookfield Zoo’s Holiday Magic Festival and at the Illinois State Fair. He will be entertaining an all-ages audience 7-8 p.m. Friday, July 25 at La Grange Public Library, 10 W. Cossitt Ave.
“The children get to shout out the magic words and clap their hands and wiggle their fingers and make a lot of the magic happen,” Scherer said. “We’ll have things disappear and reappear from somebody’s hands to another person’s hands.”
The magician will also share a lesson. “I talk to the children about the importance of patience and practice in being a magician and how that applies to pretty much everything growing up,” Scherer said.
