McDonald’s faces issues in Russia over ingredients in some products

Oak Brook-based McDonald’s is dealing with another problem just days after reporting profits slipped again and a Chinese food supplier is facing a scandal over selling meat products past their expiration dates, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

McDonald’s Corp. faces another international battle.

Russia’s consumer protection agency wants to ban some of the Oak Brook hamburger giant’s sandwiches, its milkshakes and ice cream because of “inappropriate physical-chemical parameters,” Reuters reported.
