This fall, Hinsdale Humane Society’s Junior Board is hosting the first ever Pet-A-Palooza event on Saturday, September 6th from 4p.m.-8p.m. on the north lawn of the shelter.
Bands comprised of students from local high schools will perform throughout the evening for a suggested donation of $10, or a shelter wish list item. Performing from 4-5pm is Red Ray Bansfrom Hinsdale Central High School, from 5-6pm is They Found Us from York High School, from 6-7pm is Willis from York High School, and from 7-8pm is Mammoth Nation from Lyons Township High School.
There will be plenty of food available to enjoy as you dance along to the music. Sweet and Savory Spot in Westmont will be providing all types of comfort food to purchase along with shaved ice from Kona Ice to help you cool down.
This is a great opportunity to bring your family or friends and support local talent as well as a local charity. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged to ensure fun for the whole family, and friendly pets on leash are always welcomed.
Presenting this new event is the Hinsdale Humane Society’s Junior Board, which is a youth-led organization consisting of local high school students.
