Online photo causes rift between District 86 Board, Teachers Association

The inadvertent posting of a photo on a news website, which was then shared on social media, has caused some more friction between the District 86 Board and the Teachers Association, according to the Chicago Tribune:

A member of the Hinsdale Township High School District 86 board filed a police report over an online photo of a hatchet lodged in a car that some have deemed a threat from teachers who shared it on Facebook.

The move comes amid tense contract negotiations between the school board and Hinsdale High School Teachers Association, but police say they don’t believe further investigation is necessary.
