Doings area students receive degrees, college honors

More than 350 Lake Forest College students earned their bachelor’s degrees at the commencement ceremony.

From Willowbrook: Lana Panitch, graduated magna cum laude, bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies and Spanish. Panitch is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Sigma Iota. Panitch is a graduate of Hinsdale South.

From La Grange: Ethan Guenther, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. Guenther is a graduate of Lyons Township High School North; and Katherine Raftery, graduated magna cum laude, bachelor of arts degree in Asian studies: Chinese language concentration. Raftery is a member of Phi Sigma Iota. Raftery is a graduate of Lyons Township High School.

Anne Lombardi of Hinsdale received the bachelor of arts degree in Spanish, cum laude, from Carleton College during its commencement ceremony.
