Girls volleyball: Healthy Hannah Juley looking forward to Wisconsin reunion with her sister

Julia Saunders and Hannah Juley delayed becoming teammates this summer, when an injury to Juley’s foot prevented her from playing for Western Springs-based 1st Alliance 17 Silver.

Saunders, a 6-foot-3 outside hitter at Nazareth, and Juley, a 5-11 setter at Lyons, were supposed to be club teammates this past season. But Juley never played a match as she continued to rehab from an injury to the Lisfranc joint in her left foot suffered midway through her junior season at Lyons.

Juley, a La Grange resident, underwent two surgeries, most recently on April 18 when doctors removed three screws from her foot.
