Crime briefs: Burr Ridge woman says former landlord left threatening voicemails

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the area police departments.

Burr Ridge

FRAUD

  • A resident discovered Aug. 11 there were five fraudulent charges to her Home Depot credit card.

HARASSING PHONE CALLS

  • A woman reported Aug. 14 her former landlord had called eight to 12 times over the previous 10 days and left threatening messages about a parking pass he wanted her to return.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

  • A woman reported Aug. 15 someone struck her Hyundai while it was in the parking lot for the Emeritus senior living facility, at 6801 High Grove Blvd., on Aug. 14. The driver left without leaving his or her contact information.
  • An employee of Lifetime Fitness, discovered two small cracks in the windshield of his 1999 Oldsmobile. The damage occurred while the car was parked outside the fitness center, at 601 Burr Ridge Parkway, between 8:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11.
  • Vandals threw eggs and toilet paper at a house on Leonard Lane. The damage was reported at 6:15 a.m. Aug. 12.
  • At about 6:35 p.m. Aug. 15, a man reported his wallet was stolen from a counter in a workout room at Five Seasons, at 6901 Madison St.
