13th annual Women’s Classic Golf Outing raises $45,000 for Clearbrook

On June 9, 75 ladies joined Clearbrook for the 13th annual Women’s Classic Golf Outing at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, where they raised nearly $45,000.

From martinis and champagne to chocolate and massages, the women enjoyed games and surprises at each hole and created countless unforgettable memories while networking with other female golfers who support people with disabilities.

Adding to the excitement this year was the inclusion of three brackets of players, which allowed for an overall winning foursome in each bracket. All golfers also had the opportunity to win $10,000 at the hole-in-one contest hole, sponsored by Arlington Ford.

The golfers also competed in a Farthest Drive competition with a tiny twist: they were challenged to drive rubber ducks. The slight change left golfers laughing and enjoying their chance at teeing up with a duck, a huge success for the new addition to the outing.

Proceeds from the outing benefit the 6,000 children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities served by Clearbrook annually.
