Republic Bank of Chicago has named Paul Guagenti as the new vice president and market manager of its west suburban Chicago Banking Centers in Darien, Oak Brook and Hodgkins.
Guagenti has been with Republic Bank of Chicago since May 2005, and has served in the positions of retail market manager and commercial relationship manager. In his new position as vice president and market manager, Guagenti will be charged with managing commercial client portfolios, meeting with prospective and established customers to discuss business needs and promoting the bank in the community by maintaining an active, visible role in organizations.
“Paul is very much in tune with both the perspectives of the customers and the banking industry,” said Larry Marks, chief operatingofficer and senior executive vice president for Republic Bank. “In all his roles on the Republic Bank team, Paul has proven that he knows what the customers need and want, as well as what the bank needs in order to satisfy the customer base with certainty and competence. We’re confident that he can offer insight on both perspectives.”
Guagenti partakes in a number of community organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the board for the Darien Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Council for Oak Brook and for the West Suburban Foundation.
