DuPage Convention welcomes sales manager
Suzanne Burke Vogt has joined the staff of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau as sales manager, overseeing the association market with concentration in Springfield.
Vogt’s focus is on showcasing DuPage County, along with its 2 million square feet of combined meeting space and over 16,000 guest rooms in its 100+ hotels and resorts, as a preferred destination for the association market’s meetings and events.
Vogt reports to Lisa Landers, the bureau’s director of sales, and works closely with the rest of the sales team with the goal of increasing economic impact by booking meetings in DuPage County.
Vogt graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and minors in sociology and anthropology. She previously worked as corporate sales manager at Crowne Plaza in Southbury, Conn., and group sales manager/tournament director for the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head, S.C.
