Business space available for Willowbrook-Burr Ridge Chamber Expo

BURR RIDGE — Booth space is now available for the 15th annual Willowbrook-Burr Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Expo 2013, scheduled from 1 to 6 p.m. March 6, at Ashton Place, 341 W. 75th Street, Willowbrook.

The Expo is co-sponsored by the Willowbrook Hotel-Motel Tax Advisory Committee.

The Expo features a variety of business services, products, restaurant food offerings, municipal and Chamber information for the general public. Admission is free for all local businesses and residents.

Chamber members and guests are invited to a luncheon and brief business meeting starting at noon, March 6, after which everyone will have an opportunity to visit the Expo. Exhibitors will showcase their products and services and many will offer brochures and giveaways to those attending the Expo. Visitors also have an opportunity to enter a raffle for a variety of prizes that have been donated by Chamber businesses.

New this year will be an enlightening presentation by Fox News Meteorologist Tammie Souza at 1:30 p.m. who will discuss the changing weather patterns in the Midwest. Area residents and students are welcome to attend her program.

From 3 to 5 p.m. the Chamber will host an informal gathering for members of several local chambers and business associations. Complimentary pizza will be served in a VIP area, reserved for guests who can mingle with fellow business owners from the area. Admission tickets to this event are available online through the local chamber websites. Guests attending the VIP party will also have an opportunity to visit the Expo.

Local businesses interested in hosting a booth to display their products and services should call the Chamber office at (630) 654-0909. The fee is $255 for Chamber members; $300 for a shared booth; a special rate of $255 for invited area Chamber members; and $100 for restaurants. Additional fees apply for extra tables, electric and phone lines.
