DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes manager of partner relations

Annette Licitra has joined the staff of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau in Oak Brook as partner relations manager.
Licitra is responsible for the overall organization and management of the bureau’s membership, including member development and retention, maintaining the member database, and creating and distributing the monthly membership e-newsletter.
She also plans, develops and executes the bureau’s membership programs, such as new member orientation sessions, educational programs, the annual meeting and various social and networking programs, and works closely with the Board of Directors’ Membership Committee in implementing their strategic plan, projects and initiatives which offer opportunities for bureau members to reach the lucrative travel and tourism market.
Licitra is a graduate of Benedictine University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in accounting. She is enrolled in the hospitality program at College of DuPage.
She has extensive experience as a senior financial analyst, but a strong interest in tourism fueled her desire for a career change. She spent the last few months in guest services at Hotel Arista in Naperville before joining the CVB. Her strong analytical skills and passion for this industry will serve her and the bureau well.
