By Your Side opens a second location

Two years after opening its first location in Burr Ridge, By Your Side Autism Language Center is expanding to Schaumburg.

By Your Side, located at 361 S. Frontage Road, offers a variety of speech and language therapies to children and adults with autism and their families.

“Burr Ridge has been very successful,” said co-founder and executive director Julie Martin. “We’re doing a good thing here.”

Martin said about 80 students are helped each week through the facility’s many therapies.

She said the second location, set to open March 1, will allow her team of professionals to provide speech and language therapy to many more people.

The Schaumburg location will be led by speech therapist Kathryn Neenan.

“She’s been a part of By Your Side since we opened,” Martin said.
