Several reports of stolen property at Hinsdale South

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the area police departments.

BURR RIDGE

BURGLARY

A Wii game system was found in bushes outside a home in the 100 block of Circle Ridge Drive Dec. 12. The system was taken from the home Dec. 7.

Someone broke into a home in the 7800 block of Forest Hill Road between 3:15 and 9:10 p.m. Dec. 12. Nothing was reported missing.

THEFT

A resident of Old Mill Lane called police at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 10 after she saw a man try to steal a package from her porch. He then left in a white Toyota Camry. The same man reportedly was seen taking a package from another home on Old Mill Lane on Dec. 10.

Two cell phones were stolen from the basketball court area of Lifetime Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway, on Dec. 9. The thefts of an iPhone and a Samsung smartphone occurred between 4:30 and 6:45 p.m.

DARIEN

THEFT

Darien police responded to Hinsdale South High School, 7401 Clarendon Hills Road, Darien, for several reports stolen property. A cellphone was taken from a classroom on Nov. 21. Another student reported the theft of a phone Nov. 26. An iPod was reported stolen from an unlocked gym locker Dec. 2, and a student’s wallet and cash were taken from a gym locker on Dec. 4.
