Snowmobile driven recklessly in Burr Ridge parking lot

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the area police departments.

BURR RIDGE

HARASSMENT

A resident of 62nd Street near County Line Road reported Feb. 1 he was being harassed with numerous text message, phone calls and emails from someone he believes is a former acquaintance.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A woman reported a blue car struck her vehicle in the Brookhaven Marketplace parking lot, at 1000 Burr Ridge Parkway, and then drove away at about 8:35 a.m. Jan. 29.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Employees of a business on the 300 block of Shore Drive reported someone was driving a yellow and orange snowmobile recklessly through their parking lot at about 4:25 p.m. Feb. 1, and it was not the first time it had happened.

THEFT

A former employee of Five Seasons, at 6901 Madison St., reported someone took her Apple MacPro laptop from her top desk drawer between 9 a.m. Jan. 30 and 11:18 a.m. Jan. 31. The grey laptop, which cost more than $500, was in a protective black sleeve.
