The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Burr Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Someone used a Burr Ridge resident’s identity to obtain a $1,000 payday loan. The resident, who lives in the first block of Seneca Court, reported the incident Aug. 27.
More than $5,000 was taken from a home in the 100 block of Glenmora Drive between Aug. 14 and 22. The resident told police the cash was taken from three different locations inside the house. No signs of forced entry were reported.
A 16-foot ladder was stolen from in front of a home in the 15W200 block of 72nd Street between Aug. 25 and 28. Loss is estimated at $250.
