Sheriff John Zaruba announced today the arrest of a West Chicago man late yesterday afternoon after he recklessly took two juveniles off the school bus.

At approximately 4:00 pm yesterday the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a local bus company who stated that an unknown male forced his way on the bus and removed two juveniles. The bus driver was dropping off students on the schedule route when the bus driver was cut off by the vehicle, which caused a minor accident between the vehicle and bus. Then, it is alleged that Palmer approached the bus, forced his way onto the bus and removed 2 juvenile students, one later identified as his son and fled the area.
