In July, DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba's office announced a new initiative to track down local fugitives called "Manhunt Monday" in which it would select one person every week to feature in hopes that someone with information about the criminal's whereabouts comes forward.
In a statement on their website, the sheriff's office said: "On 'Manhunt Monday' the Sheriff’s Office will highlight one criminal who is being sought after for having outstanding warrants ... Please remember these suspects are wanted for criminal charges and need to be apprehended by law enforcement.”
This week's Manhunt Monday pick, Margaret T. Puleo from Wood Dale, is wanted for Aggravated Battery and Driving Under the Influence Alcohol, a Class 3 felony. According to the sheriff's office:
"The 37 year old female is wanted for violation of her bail bond on the 2009 case of Aggravated Battery, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and leaving the scene of accident.
Margaret T. Puleo (dob/10/02/75) is 5’11” tall, 130 lbs., with blonde hair and brown eyes. Her last known address was in the 100 block of Forest Glen Rd, Wooddale, IL.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Puleo, please contact the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office at 630.407.2400."
