Darien police looking for computer thief

The Darien Police Department has released photos of a man believed to have taken a computer tablet from the Indian Prairie Public Library.

Police said the man, thought to be in his early 20s, left the library at 402 Plainfield Road, Darien, at 2:06 p.m. Dec. 5 carrying a Google Nexus 10.

Video surveillance reportedly shows the man running through the parking lot after leaving the building.

Anyone who recognizes the person in the photos is asked to call Darien police at (630) 353-8358.

The Indian Prairie Library services Darien, Burr Ridge and Willowbrook.
