A square bubble may seem like an impossibility but Geoff Akins’ mantra is “Anything is Possible.” Akins will attempt that amazing feat when he presents his Bubble Wonders show at DuPage Children’s Museum’s Bubble Bash 2012, 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 31 at Wentz Concert Hall, North Central College, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville.

“I’m going to squeeze all my good stuff into a fast, action-packed, high-energy performance,” Akins said. “I’ll do all the really entertaining and beautiful and visual tricks.”

That includes making a bubble caterpillar.

“I’m going to try to break the world record and see how long of a caterpillar I can make,” Akins said.”I’ll show them three different ways to put bubbles inside of bubbles. Of course, I will attempt to put a child inside a bubble.”

Bubble Bash will also feature a performance by Jeanie B! and the Jelly Beans, and a countdown to noon.

Tickets are $10 for museum members, $15 for nonmembers. After Dec. 20, tickets must be purchased at the museum, 301 North Washington St., Naperville.
