SMALL PROBLEM
There are times when it’s difficult being tinier than other people. That’s the topic of the Little People Adventures Storytime, 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 5 at the Oak Brook Barnes & Noble, 297 Oakbrook Center.
Kids and their parents will hear, “Watch Your Tongue, Cecily Beasley” by Lane Fredrickson and Jean Reagan’s “How to Babysit a Grandpa.” There will also be a related activity.

CREATURES FEATURED
Toddlers, ages 1-3, will learn about a different animal each week at Animal Crackers, 9:15 to 10 a.m. or 10:15 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 8-22, at the Burr Ridge Community Center, 15 W. 400 Harvest Drive.
Kids, accompanied by a parent, will stretch, move, do a craft project and participate in other activities revolving around the animal of the day. Cost is $25 for residents, $30 for nonresidents. Other sessions will be offered Feb. 5-19, March 5-19 and April 2-16.
