Burr Ridge school conducts blood drive

A Heartland blood technician draws blood from Melinda Borchardt of Chicago during the Trinity Lutheran School blood drive in Burr Ridge.

Trinity Lutheran School sponsored a Community Blood Drive with Heartland Blood Centers in late January.
Trinity officials said it was a very successful drive, with 33 people showing up and 28 able to donate.
Donors each received an $11 gift certificate for Oberweis for their generosity.
