Burr Ridge Police Blotter for May 22

The following incidents were listed among the reports of the Burr Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
BURGLARY
A laptop computer, an iPhone and two iPods were taken from an unlocked car parked in a driveway on the 1100 block of Woodview between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:32 a.m. on Sunday.
Flooring intended for use as an athletic court was stolen from a home under construction on the 6400 block of St. James Court. The theft was reported at 10:50 a.m. on May 16. Loss is estimated at $10,000.
ALCOHOL
Barbara Sutter, 55, of 2212 Comstock, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on the 100 block of Carriage Way Drive at 2:39 a.m. on Friday.
DRUG EQUIPMENT
Drake Estrada, 19, of 9348 S. 87th, Hickory Hills, was charged with possession of drug equipment after police found a glass pipe in his car during a traffic stop at 1:25 a.m. May 17 on northbound Route 83 at Meadowbrook Drive. Police stopped Estrada’s car for allegedly having no rear plate light.
DAMAGE
A homeowner on the 800 block of Lakeview Lane told police that someone cut the screen of a lower-level porch door sometime before 4:51 p.m. on Saturday. The home was not entered.
A homeowner on the 8600 block of Heather Drive discovered damage to a storm door screen at 8:07 p.m. on May 16. Police said an animal might have caused the damage.
