Man killed in four-car crash on Tri-State Tollway

A man was killed in a crash on the Tri-State Tollway near Oak Brook Tuesday morning.
Aaron Swenson, 31, was in a vehicle northbound on the Tri-State Tollway when he was injured in a crash just north of Cermak Road about 8 a.m., according to Illinois State Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash, although it wasn’t clear Tuesday night what caused the wreck, state police said.
Swenson, whose address wasn’t known, was pronounced dead at 8:33 a.m. at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, the medical examiner’s office said.
