Burr Ridge police blotter for Aug. 7

The following incidents were listed among the reports of the Burr Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ALCOHOL

Jonathan Stinnette, 24, of 614 Mahoney, Minooka, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and speeding after a traffic stop on Interstate 55 near La Grange Road at 12:27 a.m. on Saturday.

THEFT

An iPhone was taken from a chair near the swimming pool at Lifetime Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway, on July 31. The theft was reported at 6:36 p.m.

Landscaping equipment was taken from a trailer parked on Andrew Court on July 30. The equipment, valued at $1,250, was reported missing at 9:17 a.m.

DAMAGE

A car was scratched after someone put a slow cooker on the trunk of the car while it was parked at Burr Ridge Village Center Aug. 3. It is not known who put the appliance on the car.

Someone damaged a mailbox on the 15W000 block of Sedgley Road during the night Aug. 1. The damage was reported at 9:25 a.m. on Aug. 2.
