Race contested in Gower 62

WILLOWBROOK
Two newcomers are among the five candidates who will vie for four open spots on the Gower District 62 School Board in April.
Ryan Asmus, Young Ra-Hurka and Joe Schulte, all of Burr Ridge, will be joined on the ballot by Todd Koehler or Willowbrook and Ramona Stephens-Zemaitis of Burr Ridge.
DISTRICT 180
Three incumbents and a newcomer will run unopposed for the four four-year terms available on the Burr Ridge Elementary District 180 School Board. Eric Schroeder, Erin Smits Fichtelberg and Amanda Frankel will seek new terms, as will Nneka R. Obasi.
Stanley Niew will run unopposed for the open two-year seat.
