Franzese takes seat on Burr Ridge Village Board

BURR RIDGE — Burr Ridge trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Plan Commissioner Guy Franzese to the Village Board on Monday.
A 16-year member of the Plan Commission and a 35-year resident, Franzese is one of five people running for trustee in the April 9 election.
“I appreciate the confidence the trustees and the acting mayor have shown in me,” Franzese said after he took the oath of office.
Franzese takes over the unexpired term of Robert Sodikoff, who was chosen to replace Gary Grasso as mayor last month.
